The Nonnenstromberg is still known by this name today; the Stromberg is now called Petersberg. This tour leads over and around both peaks.
The hike, which starts in Heisterbacherrott, leads over two of the “seven” peaks of the Siebengebirge, Petersberg and Nonnenstromberg, and brings together nature and contemporary history. During the time when Bonn was the capital, guests of the Federal Republic of Germany resided on Petersberg. In the natural forest reserve on Nonnenstromberg, you can experience the natural development of the Siebengebirge forests.
